Innovative Hydrogen Solutions or IHS as we call it is a fairly new company with an old passion for the power of Hydrogen. Our team has been working to break through with the message of "lower emissions" and "higher fuel mileage" for over 10 years. Perhaps in retrospect the message was a little before it’s time. However, in today’s environment, the world is ready to accept Hydrogen into their daily lives where we can all enjoy the benefits of the most abundant element in the universe. After all, the whole universe can’t be wrong.

We are a company with representatives all across Canada. Our head office is in Winnipeg and the administration is carried out there, but our functionality is spread diversely throughout the country. We have many aggressive and highly motivated men and women carrying the "Let’s Clear the Air" banner to raise support and awareness of the important initiative being carried on here at IHS.

I-PHI™
We have developed a market-ready hydrogen generator for the transportation industry as our opening attack on Greenhouse Gases. Our technology will reach out far beyond the transportation industry though. We know we can increase efficiencies for all internal combustion engines. This means all industry or agricultural venues, the fossil fuel-fired ‘electrical generation’ sector, as well as the ‘oil patch’ and mining business with their reliance on stationary generators. Through IHS and the I-PHI™, the world can breathe easier.

The I-PHI™ separates the hydrogen and oxygen that is stored in water through a process called electrolysis. By drawing a small amount of power off a vehicle’s electrical system we can power our generator to produce an intense new fuel we call Hysoline™. This is a blend of gasoline or diesel and hydrogen, that when mixed together with oxygen, creates a burn in the combustion process that’s cleaner and more complete, and it knocks loose the engine contaminants responsible for reducing efficiency and increasing costs.

To date, our product has been developed by our own technicians who can claim many years of experimenting with and applying hydrogen to engines. Through the constant collection of data gathered with the help of test partners in the Heavy Goods Vehicle sector we have been able to bring the I-PHI™ to a point of reliability and safety. We have engaged Wardrop Engineering to take our generator from prototype to a finished and packaged product. We are well into this transition phase and have already been awarded ‘Proof of Concept’ (PDF document) from Wardrop. This has been a very satisfying milestone for IHS in confirming the viability of our I-PHI™. Many more great things will come from our alliance with Wardrop and other professional organizations that are all working with us to bring this revolutionary technology to your doorstep.
